About the Founder

​Hana started her journey to this region in early 2011. After selling everything she owned and buying a one-way ticket, Hana boarded a plane with nothing but her backpack and passport. Looking for adventure and a meaning to life, Hana soon found out that her passion to help people would manifest here. While she currently resides in Kentucky with her family, a part of her will always remain connected to Karen State and the connections she continues to foster. In 2017, Hana finally made it a priority to start Baht Babies and has accomplished a significant amount since her first journey to Karen State. Hana is a graduate of American Public University and is originally from Kentucky.
