About the Founder

​Hannah started her journey to this region in early 2011. After selling everything she owned and buying a one-way ticket, Hannah boarded a plane with nothing but her backpack and her passport. Looking for adventure and a meaning to life, Hannah soon found out that her passion to help people would manifest here. While Hannah currently resides in Kentucky with her family, a part of her will always remain connected to Karen State and the connections she continues to foster. In 2017, Hannah finally made it a priority to start Baht Babies and has accomplished a significant amount already on her first journey to Karen State.
